ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ 'Uthmān Ibn-'Affān said, "I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, say, 'God builds a house in Paradise to whoever builds Him a mosque.'"(1) Footnotes: (1): The hadīth indicates that the reward is of the nature of the deed: it will be a house and it will be as revered as a mosque (but it will be like nothing seen before, as is everything in Paradise.) ”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ نُهِينَا عَنِ الْكَىِّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِى الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ. وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
